8 people, including child, killed by ballistic missile in Sumy

Russian terrorist forces launched a missile attack, probably with ballistics, on a densely populated residential neighborhood of the city of Sumy.

Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar announced this on his Telegram channel on Sunday, November 17.

According to him, there are many wounded in the high-rise building near which a missile hit. All the windows in the building and all the surrounding houses were broken, Kobzar noted. The residents of the affected building are currently being evacuated.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that russia launched a powerful missile attack on Sumy at 8:37 p.m. There are victims who are being helped. All necessary services are available at the scene.

"As a result of the enemy attack, as of 10:00 p.m., it is known that 8 people were killed, including 1 child, and 10 local residents were injured. At least 10 high-rise buildings and vehicles were damaged, the number of which is currently being determined," says the statement of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
