President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that Ukraine did not receive even half of arms aid allocated by USA

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine did not receive even half of the weapons that were officially allocated by the United States, and that Europe helped our country no less than the United States.

The Ukrainian Head of State stated this in an interview with Ukrainian Radio.

"As for the huge aid (from the USA - ed.). Look, this money still needs to be delivered. If you asked me how much we got from it, I wouldn't go into details, because there are different reports from different institutions, such as the Ministry of Defense, and intelligence, etc. I would only say: we did not get half.

I think this is an important element, when we say how someone helps us. I believe that Europe helped no less. And this is an important element, when we talk about gratitude. Every penny is important to survive, we are grateful for it. But we have to be honest…

This is the kind of help we received. That's how it came to us. It was a weapon. And the factories and plants of the USA increased production, increased their warehouses, the power of their army. In many respects, they received answers from us... unfortunately, there were many losses, so on the living example of another nation, they gained experience for themselves, and so did the Europeans," the President of Ukraine noted.

To a clarifying question, Zelenskyy answered that he meant the supply of weapons exactly.

"When I talk about half, I think less, I'm talking about weapons. I negotiated about weapons. Of course, there is humanitarian aid, there is financial aid, there is directed financial aid to the budget, there are separate humanitarian programs directed to the regions. All this is aid, thanks to the partners. In general, there was a lot of help from the very beginning of the war - not from the first day, but from the beginning of the war, let's say," he said.
