Enemy did not risk taking its warships into Black and Azov Seas - AFU Navy

As of 06:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, there are no russian warships in the Black and Azov Seas.

This was announced by the command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of ​​Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea - 2 enemy ships, 1 of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles," the message reads.

During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:

- to the Black Sea - 7 ships, of which 5 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of ​​Azov - 6 ships, of which 3 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, there were no russian warships in the Black and Azov Seas on November 15 either.

Military sailors emphasized that the russian federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of ​​1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems.
