Based on results of IMF mission, Shmyhal expects to receive next tranche of USD 1.1 billion at end of December
According to the results of the International Monetary Fund mission, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal expects to receive the next tranche of USD 1.1 billion at the end of December.
Shmyhal announced this on his Telegram channel after a meeting with representatives of the IMF mission, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"We successfully completed the 5th review of the EFF program at the end of October. We completed all the structural beacons for the 6th review. Based on the results of the current mission, we expect to receive the next tranche of USD 1.1 billion at the end of December," he said.
The Prime Minister also discussed with the representatives of the mission the further implementation of the reforms provided for in the memorandum on cooperation with the IMF, and Ukraine's progress, which, according to him, the fund values very highly.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 11, the IMF mission began work in Kyiv with the 6th revision of the extended financing program.
In October, Ukraine received another tranche from the IMF in the amount of USD 1.1 billion.
Ukraine received this tranche as a result of the fifth revision of the EFF program in the amount of USD 15.6 billion.
In July, Ukraine received USD 2.2 billion from the International Monetary Fund.
