Trump wants "peace as soon as possible" in Ukraine - Finnish President

Newly elected US President Donald Trump wants peace talks and an early end to the war in Ukraine.

This was announced by the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, in an interview with Bloomberg TV after a telephone conversation with Trump.

Stubb said his phone conversation with Trump on Monday night made it clear that the president-elect needs to be "taken seriously" when he talks about ending russian aggression in Ukraine.

"We in Europe and the rest of the world must understand that Donald Trump is very serious about concluding a peace agreement as soon as possible," the Finnish President said.

According to him, there is a window of opportunity for peace talks between the election and the inauguration day of the US President.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 10, the American publication The Washington Post wrote that on November 7, President-elect Trump allegedly had a telephone conversation with the russian dictator.

Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov denied this information.

It will be recalled that on November 8, the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, said that the USA, after the election of Trump, allegedly wants to "get out" of the russian-Ukrainian war.
