Rescue operations completed in Kryvyi Rih: mother and three children, including infant, killed
Search and rescue operations in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Region, have been completed. As a result of the russian attack, a mother and three children, the youngest of whom was 2 months old, were killed.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Search and rescue operations have been completed in Kryvyi Rih. The youngest victim of the russian attack was only 2 months old. As a result of the missile attack, four people were killed: a mother and three children. Another 14 people were wounded," the message reads.
It is indicated that thanks to operative actions, it was possible to save 5 residents, psychologists provided assistance to 12 more people.
Meanwhile, investigators and criminologists are working near the scene of the incident, as the strike was on civilian infrastructure and another four dozen residential buildings were damaged. 5 investigative and operative groups have already accepted almost 170 statements from the victims.
About 200 rescuers and police officers worked at the scene for almost a day. Explosive technicians and cynologists were involved in the work.
We will remind, on November 11, the russian occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih, damaging a high-rise building - apartments from the 1st to the 5th floor were destroyed in one of the entrances. On the eve of the attack, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the threat of using ballistic weapons from Crimea, and later - of a missile at Kryvyi Rih.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the russian attack on the city and emphasized that Ukraine needs additional weapons to protect itself from the attacks of the aggressor country of russia.
