Zelenskyy extends martial law and general mobilization
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has signed laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization.
This is stated in the cards of bills No. 12151 and No. 12152.
The documents were signed today, November 6.
Thus, martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine from November 10 are extended for 90 days and will last until February 7, 2025.

- The Verkhovna Rada supported these bills for the thirteenth time on October 29. The day before, Zelenskyy submitted the documents for consideration.
- 311 parliamentarians voted for the extension of martial law, 304 voted for mobilization.
- The bills were reported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Lytvynenko. He said that it is needed to mobilize more than 160,000 people. This will make it possible to complete units by more than 80%.
- More than a million people have now been mobilized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 23, the Rada extended martial law and mobilization until November 10.
On February 24, 2022, the Rada approved the introduction of martial law by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in connection with the start of the war by russia and the announcement and conduct of general mobilization.
