The US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, voted in the election in the city of Palm Beach, Florida.

After the vote, he told reporters that he was "very confident" of his victory in the election.

"I heard that we have a very good situation everywhere," he said.

The Republican also called the current election campaign "the best" among those he led.

Trump believes that he will win by a "significant margin", but the approval of the votes "will take a long time".
