Australia joins International Coalition for Return of Ukrainian Children - Lubinets

Australia joined the International Coalition of Countries for the Return of Ukrainian Children. In total, 41 countries joined the Coalition.

This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, in his Telegram channel.

"Another country has come to our side in the fight for the rights of Ukrainian children, who have suffered from illegal displacement and deportation. We are grateful to Australia for its support and willingness to help return little Ukrainians home!" Lubinets wrote.

He also added that Ukraine continues to work so that every child returns home.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, more than 1,700 children are considered missing due to the war. At least such data are listed in the Unified Register of Persons Disappeared Under Special Circumstances.

Earlier, the ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported that the aggressor country of russia kidnapped more than 20,000 Ukrainian children.

On October 29, Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that Ukraine managed to return six more children to the controlled territory.
