Nighttime enemy UAV attack on Kyiv. Debris from drones fall in 2 districts, 5 people injured

On Tuesday, October 29, at night and at dawn, the russian occupation forces carried out drone attacks on Kyiv, fragments of downed UAVs fell in two districts of the capital, 5 people were injured.

The State Emergency Service and the Kyiv City Military Administration announced this on the Telegram channels, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The eighteenth air attack of the armed forces of the Russian Federation on Kyiv since the beginning of October!.. The air raid alert was announced twice overnight in Kyiv and in total it lasted more than 4 hours. Enemy drones entered the capital from different directions, but were detected in time by the forces and means of air defense and neutralized," said the message of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

It is reported that in the Solomianskyi District, after the fall of the wreckage of a UAV, a fire broke out in a residential building and a commercial premises, and several cars caught fire.

"At 04:29 a.m., a parked car, a shop and a commercial building caught fire due to a UAV attack. A gas pipe was also depressurized. The fire on an area of ​​50 square meters was contained at 05:17 a.m.  and extinguished at 05:37a.m.," the State Emergency Service reported.

According to preliminary data, five victims sought medical help, a man with leg injuries was hospitalized.

In Sviatoshynskyi District, debris broke windows in a three-story administrative building; information about the victims was not received.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 24, the aggressor country russia tried to attack Kyiv with drones, which were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense.

The air raid alert in the capital was declared three times during the night and lasted almost 6 hours in total.

According to the administration, there was no information about the destruction or the victims.

We will remind you that on the night of October 27, the occupiers once again attacked Kyiv with drones. All drones were neutralized on the outskirts of the city. No injuries or damage were recorded.
