Almost 150 combat clashes take place at front, half of them in west of Donetsk Region — General Staff
During the past day, 149 combat clashes took place between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the russian occupiers. Almost half of them were recorded on two sections of the front in the Donetsk Region.
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the command, during the day, combat operations continued in nine sections of the front in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions.
Kharkiv axis
Four combat clashes took place on the Kharkiv axis. The occupiers tried to attack in the area of the settlement of Vovchansk.
Kupiansk axis
On the Kupiansk axis, the number of combat clashes per day reached 13. The Ukrainian military repelled attacks in the districts of Kolisnykivka, Synkivka, Kruhliakivka, Pershotravneve, and Lozova.
Lyman axis
On the Lyman axis, the Ukrainian military repelled 15 attacks by the enemy who tried to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Zarichne, Terny and Torske.
Kramatorsk axis
On the Kramatorsk axis, Ukrainian soldiers nullified three attempts by the russians to break through our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
Toretsk axis
On the Toretsk axis, the occupiers carried out one attack on the positions of the Ukrainian military in the area of the settlement of Toretsk.
Pokrovsk axis
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Ukrainian military repelled 31 attacks by the occupiers. The russians launched an offensive in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove and Vyshneve settlements.
Kurakhove axis
On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the enemy in the districts of Zoriane, Maksymilianivka, Novodmytrivka, Katerynivka, and Antonivka. In the areas of these settlements, the occupiers tried to storm the positions of the Ukrainian military 48 times.
Vremivka axis
On the Vremivka axis, the occupiers made 12 attempts to take positions in the areas of Bohoiavlenka and Novoukrainka settlements.
Dniester axis
On the Dniester axis, the Ukrainian military repelled two attacks by the occupiers.
The General Staff also reported that during the day, the occupiers carried out 93 airstrikes, launched one rocket and opened fire from artillery of various types more than 4,800 times.
In addition, the use of more than 1,600 attack drones against the enemy was recorded on the front line.
As the Ukrainian News agency previously reported, earlier today, October 29, DeepState analysts stated that the occupiers were allegedly able to advance near five settlements in the west of the Donetsk Region.
