Ukrainian defenders destroy newest radar station Garmon-M of russian army in Donetsk Region
In the Kramatorsk Axis, servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed the newest radar station Garmon-M of the russian army.
This was reported in the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG).
The station was destroyed by an FPV drone of servicemen of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade of the AFU Kholodnyi Yar. It is not clear where exactly the russians lost their radar.
It is noted that the Garmon-M radar is new for the russian army. They began to arrive in units in March 2024.
Radar Garmon-M is designed to detect and determine the belonging of aerial objects at a range of up to 45 km.
"However, ironically, it was destroyed by an FPV drone <...> So thanks to the skill and accuracy of the Ukrainian pilots, the russian Garmon-M played its last chords in the Kramatorsk Axis," the message reads.
We will remind you that on the night of October 24-25, the Ukrainian military destroyed the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft complex of the russians in the enemy-controlled part of the Luhansk Region.
We also reported that earlier today, on October 28, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the losses of the russian army that it suffered over the past day.
