The Defense Forces of Ukraine have destroyed a Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk Region. A radar for target illumination and missile guidance was also destroyed.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian military, the russians lost a Buk-M3 air defense system. It was adopted by the russian army in 2016. The cost of the complex is from USD 40 to USD 60 million.
It should be noted that according to information from open sources, as of 2020, at least 60 such air defense systems were in service with the russian army.
The Ukrainian military also destroyed a 9C36 target illumination and missile guidance radar station for the Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile system.

The Ukrainian military managed to rid the occupants of the air defense complex and a valuable radar station on the night of October 25.
It is not specified where exactly they were destroyed. It is only known that at the time of the attack, the targets were several tens of kilometers from the front line.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of October 24-25, the Ukrainian military shot down 36 attack drones that the occupiers had launched in the direction of Ukraine.
