Enemy uses new tactic for drone strikes on Kyiv – Kyiv City Military Administration discloses details

Russian attack UAVs use new tactics for attacks on Ukrainian cities, in particular on the capital. Enemy drones operate in waves, where the first waves force our mobile groups to maneuver, thereby creating "corridors" for subsequent waves.

The spokesman of the Kyiv City Military Administration Mykhailo Shamanov announced this on the air of the telethon.

"Most of the attacks are carried out by Shaheds. The attacks come in waves, mostly at night. The Shaheds come in at low altitudes. They can spin in some area, attracting attention. Their main purpose is to confuse our mobile groups, to force these groups to move, and thus to create "corridors" for the next waves," Shamanov said.

According to him, almost all Shahed drone attacks are successfully repelled by air defense, so it is not known for sure which objects are the target of the attack.

However, he noted that based on statements on russian propaganda channels, it can be assumed that before winter, the enemy will try to strike infrastructure facilities, logistics centers, and critical facilities such as CHPPs.

"They have been trying to leave Ukrainians without electricity, heat, gas and water for several seasons now, but, fortunately, thanks to the work of the air defense forces and means, they are not succeeding," said the spokesman of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
