192 combat clashes recorded at front on October 25 – morning operational update by AFU General Staff
In total, 192 combat clashes were recorded on the front during the past day.
This is stated in the text of the operational update from the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to detailed information, yesterday the enemy launched four missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using eight missiles, as well as 91 airstrikes, dropping 139 anti-aircraft missiles. In addition, it carried out more than 4,300 attacks, of which 142 were from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Bobylivka, Vysoka Yaruha, Hoptivka, Kozacha Lopan, Kudiivka, Siversk, Zvanivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Druzhba, Shcherbynivka, Donetske, Katerynivka, Sukha Balka, Kurakhove, Antonivka and Kozachi Laheri.
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces made 13 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft defenses of the enemy, one strike on artillery systems.
On the Kharkiv axis, four enemy attacks took place in the area of the settlement of Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, 17 assaults by the enemy took place on our positions near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Vyshneve.
The enemy attacked 24 times on the Lyman axis. It tried to advance near six different settlements. The main efforts were made in the areas of Hrekivka, Terny, Torske and Serebrianskyi Forest.
On the Siversk axis, the occupiers tried six times to advance in the areas of Ivano-Dariivka and Vyimka settlements, by this time all attacks were repulsed, the enemy had no success.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked once in the area of Chasiv Yar.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy, supported by aviation, launched three attacks in the area of the Toretsk settlement.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 46 assault and offensive actions near the settlements of Lysivka, Selydove, and Myroliubivka.
On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces repelled 41 attacks near Hostre, Katerynivka, and Novodmytrivka.
On the Vremivka axis, according to detailed information, the enemy carried out 22 assaults on our positions in the Bohoiavlenka and Novoukrainka districts.
The occupiers did not carry out assaults on the Orikhiv axis, they are shelling settlements with the use of all available types of weapons, and are carrying out airstrikes.
On the Dnieper axis, russian invaders attacked our positions three times. They were repulsed and suffered losses.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
On the border with the Sumy and Chernihiv Regions, the enemy from the territory of the russian federation is actively using guided aerial bombs and attack UAVs in the areas of Ukrainian settlements, conducting artillery fire.
Russian anti-aircraft missiles are also exploding on the territory of the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, where the operation of our troops is ongoing. According to available information, the enemy carried out 35 air strikes during the day, using 47 guided air bombs.
Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting significant losses on the occupiers in terms of manpower and equipment. They exhaust the combat potential of the enemy along the entire front line and in the rear.
In total, the russian invaders lost 1,690 people during the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 12 tanks, 45 armored combat vehicles, 29 artillery systems, two MLRSes, two air defense systems, 56 UAVs of the operational-tactical level, 95 vehicles, and six units of the occupiers' special equipment.
