The US Embassy paid for National Anti-Corruption Bureau’s (NABU) celebratory event on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the law "On NABU", which was held at the Franko Theater in Kyiv.

This is stated in NABU's response to the informational request of the Ukrainian News Agency.

"On October 18, an official event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine" was held. The financing of this event, including the rental of the premises, was carried out at the expense of the US Embassy in Ukraine," says the response to the request.

During the event, NABU director Semen Kryvonos noted: "We have come a long and difficult way. The way from the actual request for changes and justice, formed by society, the demands of partners and common sense, to clear and concrete achievements that affect the life of the country here and now."
