Trump neither denies nor confirms that he spoke with putin in 2021

Former US President Donald Trump has neither denied nor confirmed claims that he had phone conversations with russian dictator vladimir putin in 2021.

European Pravda writes about it.

The day before, The Washington Post published an excerpt from Bob Woodward's book "War", which claimed that Trump allegedly had a conversation with putin even after Trump ceased to be the president of the United States.

"Well, I don't comment on that, but I'll tell you this: if I did it, it's a smart thing to do. If I'm friends with people, if I can have relationships with people, that's good, not bad, from the state's point of view," Trump replied.

Trump also said that putin has "2,000 nuclear warheads, just like we do."

The White House previously said that information about putin's possible talks with Trump after 2021 causes "serious concern."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, former US president and current US presidential candidate from the Republican Party Donald Trump said that he "gets along very well" with russian dictator vladimir putin. At the same time, according to him, he also has a good relationship with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In 2020, former US President Donald Trump allegedly gave russian dictator vladimir putin tests to detect COVID-19 because putin was "horrified" by the pandemic.
