NBU's net international reserves down 9.8% to USD 25.6 billion in September
Net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in September decreased by 9.8% month over month to USD 25.563 billion.
This follows from the NBU data, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Since the beginning of the year, they have decreased by 9.9% from USD 28.381 billion.
Official reserve assets of the NBU decreased by 8.1% to USD 38.899 billion in September, and since the beginning of the year, they have decreased by 4% from USD 40.514 billion.
At the same time, gross reserve liabilities in September decreased by 4.7% to USD 13.336 billion, and since the beginning of the year, they have increased by 9.9% from USD 12.133 billion.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, net reserves increased by 54.6% from USD 18.322 billion in 2023.
In 2022, net reserves declined by 11.8% from USD 20.767 billion.
In 2021, the NBU's net international reserves increased by 14.6% from USD 18.144 billion to USD 20.765 billion.
In 2020, net reserves increased by 14.5% from USD 15.785 billion.
In 2019, net reserves increased by 63.8% from USD 9.644 billion.
