169 combat clashes recorded at front over past day – AFU General Staff’s morning operational update

The situation at the front remains difficult. The enemy, using their advantage in manpower and equipment, is relentlessly attacking our positions. Ukrainian defenders steadfastly restrain the onslaught of the occupiers, inflict maximum losses on the enemy.

This is stated in the morning operational update by the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the text of which is posted on the official page of the military department on Facebook.

In total, 169 combat clashes were recorded during the past day.

According to detailed information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers, using two missiles, as well as 74 airstrikes, in particular, dropping 110 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out more than 5,000 attacks, of which 155 were from multiple launch rocket systems, and engaged more than 1,530 kamikaze drones for destruction.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Richki, Yastrubyne, Osoivka, Bezsalivka, Bondarivshchyna, Rybtsi, Kysla Dubyna, Stepne, Obody, Yurieve, Rivne, Oleshnia, Katerynivka, Cherkaska Lozova, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfine, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Novoiehorivka, Yasnohorivka, Siversk, Zakitne, Dyliivka, Kramatorsk, Valentynivka, Katerynivka, Oleksandro-Kalynivka, Yablunivka, Kalynivka, Antonivka, Yasna Poliana, Zolota Nyva, Makarivka, Bohoiavlenka, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Tavriiske, Kozatske.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit two enemy control points, 18 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an artillery system at a firing position, an electronic warfare station and one means of enemy air defense.

On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy once unsuccessfully tried to storm near the settlement of Tykhe.

The enemy became more active on the Kupiansk axis, 23 attacks by invaders took place during the day. The defense forces repelled assaults near Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Kucherivka, Synkivka, Kruhliakivka, Novoosynove, Vyshneve, and Pishchane.

The enemy attacked 21 times on the Lyman axis. Tried to penetrate our defenses near Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Terny, Zarichne, Makiivka, Novosadove, Nevske, Bilohorivka, and Katerynivka.

The enemy did not carry out offensive actions on the Siversk axis.

On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers unsuccessfully attacked eight times in the districts of Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske and Stupochky.

On the Toretsk axis, the enemy launched 15 attacks near Nelipivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka. Most of them were repelled by our defenders in the Toretsk area.

On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 20 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Krutyi Yar, Myroliubivka, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Selydove. The greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Selydove and Lysivka.

The largest number of attacks was repelled by the Defense Forces on the Kurakhove axis, a total of 32 enemy attacks were stopped. The occupiers most actively tried to advance in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Katerynivka and Vodiane settlements. In addition, the enemy attacked in the areas of Novoselydivka, Maksymilianivka, Izmailivka, Hirnyk, Zoriane, Kurakhove, Zhelanne Druhe, Tsukuryne, Kurakhivka, and Antonivka.

On the Vremivka axis, the enemy intensified the pressure and carried out 15 assaults on our positions in the areas of Bohoiavlenka, Zolota Nyva, Rivnopil, Novoukrainske, Novodarivka, Levadne and Olhivske settlements. The enemy actively engaged bomber and assault aircraft for strikes in the axis.

The russian invaders did not carry out assaults in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv axes.

The operation is ongoing in the Kursk Oblast. The enemy's aviation continues to attack their villages and cities. Over the past day, russian planes carried out 18 airstrikes with 23 anti-aircraft missiles on their own territory.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy from the territory of the russian federation is actively using artillery and aviation in the areas of Ukrainian settlements.

Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the offensive potential of the enemy in the rear.

In general, the russian invaders lost 1,290 people last day. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 9 tanks, 27 armored combat vehicles, 59 artillery systems, one MLRS, 110 operational-tactical UAVs, 115 vehicles and 38 units of special equipment.
