74 combat clashes take place at front, occupiers most active on 4 sections – General Staff

Since the beginning of the current day, 72 combat clashes took place at the front between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the russian occupiers.

This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 4 p.m.

The General Staff said that the most active occupiers were on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes.

Kupiansk axis

During the day, the enemy is trying to advance to the positions of the Armed Forces in the areas of ten settlements.

Nine enemy attacks are ongoing near Synkivka, Novoosynove, Kurylivka, Novoselivka, Kolesnykivka, and Stelmakhivka. In total, 17 combat clashes were recorded on the axis.

Lyman axis

On this part of the front, the aggressor increased the number of attacks to ten. Attacked in the vicinity of Hrekivka, Nevske, Novosadove and in the Serebrianske forestry. Three combat clashes are ongoing.

Pokrovsk axis

Today, 14 clashes of varying intensity started on the Pokrovsk axis.

Fighting continues in two locations in the districts of Lysivka and Selydove. During the day, the occupiers' aviation bombarded the settlement of Chunyshyne.

Kurakhove axis

During the day, 17 combat clashes took place near Tsukuryne, Hirnyk, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Katerynivka, and five attacks by the occupier are ongoing.

What is the situation in other parts of the front

Since the beginning of the day, russian troops also tried to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Orikhiv axes.

Kharkiv axis

On the Kharkiv axis, two enemy attacks took place in the districts of Vovchansk and Starytsia. Fighting continues, the situation is under control.

Kramatorsk axis

On the Kramatorsk axis, the Ukrainian military continues to repulse the attacks of the occupiers near Chasiv Yar and Hryhorivka. The offensive in the area of Stupochky was successfully repulsed.

Toretsk axis

On the Toretsk axis, the occupiers carried out seven assaults in the Toretsk and Shcherbynivka districts. The enemy is currently carrying out two assaults there.

Orikhiv axis

On the Orikhiv axis, there were three unsuccessful combat clashes for the occupiers in the area of ​​Mali Shcherbaky and Novodanylivka. The enemy struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs.

The russian occupiers did not take any active actions in other parts of the front. Shelling of the positions of the Armed Forces and front-line settlements continues.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 1, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that the advantage of the russians in projectiles on the battlefield was reduced by almost three times.
