Russians are already in south and west of city. Military tells about situation in Vuhledar

The city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk Region is surrounded by russians on three sides, and the situation there is extremely difficult.

This was reported by a serviceman of the 24th separate assault battalion Aidar, Stanislav "Osman" Buniatov.

He refers to the words of a fighter of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who is directly in the city and has control over the situation.

"At the moment, the assault is coming from three sides - Vodiane, Prechystivka, Pavlivka. The russians have penetrated to the south and west of the city, heavy battles are taking place there. The pedestrian road is well targeted by mortars and barrel artillery. There are a lot of enemy drones, both FPV and conventional scouts with drops. They are already controlling the entire route. The command has been promising a rotation for a week, but they are constantly delaying it due to external changes and telling to hold on. There is no evacuation at all, because the BMP don't even have time to get to Vuhledar - they work on them immediately. Many heavy "300" [wounded], which cannot be carried out on foot under drones. Also, many "200" [killed] are just lying on the roads. Food, ammunition and fuel are running out," Buniatov writes.

At the same time, he suggests that because of this publication, he will have problems in command, but he is ready for it.

"But if the lives of soldiers are at stake, then so be it. If the command of the 72nd mechanized brigade reacts to something only because of publicity, then such demoralizing posts are only their fault," he summarized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Colonel Ivan Vinnik was dismissed from the post of commander of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. Currently, the unit is defending in the area of ​​the city of Vuhledar, Donetsk Region.

According to British intelligence, russian occupation forces are threatening the town of Vuhledar in the Donetsk Region from three sides, and are likely to press further in this area over the next week.
