Number of victims increases to 16. Search and rescue operations completed in Zaporizhzhia
In Zaporizhzhia, search and rescue operations at the site of an airstrike by russian troops have been completed. The total number of victims increased to 16 people.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, has announced this.
He wrote that as of 1:34 p.m., 16 people sought help from doctors.
"As a result of the shelling, nine women, five men and two children were injured - a 17-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl," Fedorov said.
He added that the two women who were injured as a result of the russian strike continue to remain in the hospital.
At 1:53 p.m., the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs announced the end of search and rescue operations in Zaporizhzhia.
The agency also published several photos taken at the place of "the hit".
We will remind you that today, September 29, the occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia, dropping two guided aerial bombs on the city. Residential buildings and other civilian objects were once again targeted by the russians.
Commenting on the morning attack on Zaporizhzhia, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during this week alone, the russians used almost 900 aerial bombs.
