Russia loses 1,470 occupiers, 42 AFVs and 99 units of special equipment during day – AFU General Staff’s report

Russia continues to suffer losses in the war against Ukraine. Over the day, on September 27, the Defense Forces eliminated 1,470 russian invaders at the front line. Besides, dozens of military equipment and weapons were destroyed.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated data on enemy losses.

Together with the 1,470 occupiers destroyed over the day, russia's total combat losses in manpower during the full-scale invasion amounted to about 650,640 people.

Powerful "demilitarization" also continued: in just one day, the russians lost 278 units of military equipment and weapons.

So, 14 enemy tanks (8,860), 42 armored combat vehicles (17,438), 55 artillery systems (18,733), four MLRS (1,203), 62 operational-tactical level UAVs (16,093), two cruise missiles (2,610), as well as 99 units of special equipment (3,291) were destroyed.

Also, from February 24, 2022 to September 28, 2024, the enemy has lost 961 air defense units, 369 military aircraft, 328 helicopters, 28 ships and boats, one submarine, and 25,411 units of motor vehicles and fuel tanks.
