Russian drone flows at critically low altitude over Rivne NPP

A russian strike drone of the Shakhed type flew in the immediate vicinity of the Rivne nuclear power plant. This is at least the third such incident involving Ukrainian nuclear power plants in recent days.

This was reported by the press service of the Energoatom national nuclear energy generating company.

The company said that the incident happened at night on September 25. The russian drone flew at a critically low altitude near the Rivne NPP industrial site.

It is emphasized that the aggressor country of russia has once again endangered the nuclear safety of Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

"Energy terror is one of the enemy's war tactics. However, it must be stopped as soon as possible," the company said.

It will be recalled that earlier this month, russian drones flew at least three times in the immediate vicinity of the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

It became known for the first time on September 12. A similar incident occurred on September 20.

And on September 23, Energoatom directly stated that the russians simulated a drone attack on the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 25, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the russians intend to attack Ukrainian nuclear power plants this winter.

According to him, the russian federation uses Chinese satellites to photograph nuclear power plants. This indicates the possible preparation of the russians for an attack on the nuclear power plants.
