Naftogaz ups profit 3.7 times to UAH 24.4 billion in H1

In January-June 2024, Naftogaz Group increased net profit 3.7 times, from UAH 6.6 to UAH 24.4 billion.

This is stated in the message of the group, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The consolidated operating profit of the group in the first half of the year increased 2.1 times, from UAH 14 to UAH 28.9 billion.

"The Naftogaz group managed to achieve significant improvements in financial results, in particular due to the growth of revenues from the sale of gas, oil and petroleum products, as well as from natural gas distribution services. The key companies that showed a profit in the first half of 2024 are Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ukrgasvydobuvannia, Ukrtransgas, Ukrnafta, LLC Gas supply company Naftogaz Ukraine, Ukrtransnafta," the message says.

According to the report, during January-June, the enterprises of the group paid taxes in the amount of UAH 44 billion to the state budget.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, the Naftogaz group earned UAH 23.1 billion in net profit, while in 2022 the company suffered a loss in the amount of UAH 79.1 billion.
