Ukraine will export pet food to Albania

Albania has opened its market to Ukrainian producers of pet food.

This is stated in the message of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, Albania has approved 2 new certificates for Ukrainian producers:

- health certificate for canned pet food intended for import or transit from Ukraine to the Republic of Albania;

- health certificate for pet chews intended for sending or for transit through the Republic of Albania.

The agreed form of the veterinary certificate of the specified categories of products is published on the official web portal of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the "international cooperation" section.

According to the report, the first step for the export of Ukrainian products of animal origin is the request of the market operator to the territorial body of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection for the location of the capacity.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in August, the Kingdom of Bahrain allowed Ukrainian producers to export poultry meat and poultry products.
