Zelenskyy's Victory Plan is a "wish list" and will not lead to breakthrough in war - Bloomberg

Western leaders did not see in the Victory Plan that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is presenting this week in New York as a breakthrough in the war with the aggressor country of russia. Some consider the plan a "wish list."

This was reported by the Bloomberg agency on Tuesday, September 24.

In the West, they tried to lower expectations regarding Zelenskyy's plan to end the war, as they did not see any new ideas in it.

"One person, familiar with Zelenskyy's conversations with foreign leaders, who spoke on the condition of anonymity during discussion of private talks, said there were no real surprises in the President's so-called "victory plan" and no game changers. Another official called it a "wish list,” Bloomberg writes.

According to the publication, pessimism is growing among Ukraine's allied countries due to the continuation of the war, as well as the possibility of Donald Trump coming to power in the United States, which may weaken support for Ukraine. Some officials have suggested that the time has come for a new round of contacts with the president of aggressor country of russia, vladimir putin. In addition, countries are also beginning to worry about their own security as russia ramps up its weapons production. Western leaders continue to signal that they do not want to provide Ukraine with more advanced weapons.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 18, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the plan for the victory of Ukraine is fully ready.

Zelenskyy explained that the Victory Plan prepared by him is a plan to strengthen Ukraine and does not require cooperation from the russians to achieve success.

Zelenskyy intends to present the Victory Plan of Ukraine to Biden on September 26. It will also be seen by candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
