Ukrenergo proposes to increase electricity transmission tariff by 48%

The Ukrenergo national energy company proposes to increase the electricity transmission tariff by 48%, or by UAH 255.14 per MWh, to UAH 783.71 per MWh.

ExPro writes about this with reference to the draft tariff published by Ukrenergo, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Ukrenergo also proposes to increase the tariff for electric energy transmission services for "green" electrometallurgy enterprises by 21% to UAH 441.05 per MWh.

In addition, the company proposes to increase the tariff for dispatching (operational and technological) management services from UAH 104.57 to UAH 104.7 per MWh.

The final decision will be made by the National Commission for the State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (Energy Commission) after an open discussion procedure.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Energy Commission increased the tariff for the transmission of electricity to Ukrenergo by 9% to UAH 528.57 per MWh from 2024.
