AFU eliminate 1,130 invaders, 25 artillery systems and 45 vehicles. General Staff names russia’s losses over day

During the day from September 17 to 18, the losses of the army of the aggressor country of the russian federation at the front amounted to 1,130 soldiers, 25 artillery systems and 45 units of automotive equipment.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to September 18, 2024 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 637,010 (+1,130) persons were eliminated;
• tanks - 8,691 (+6) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 17,080 (+3) units;
• artillery systems - 18,154 (+25) units;
• MLRS - 1,188 units;
• air defense equipment - 947 units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 328 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 15,354 (+25) units;
• cruise missiles - 2,592 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 24,784 (+45) units;
• special equipment - 3,109 (+18) units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the loss of personnel of the russian troops on September 15 increased by 1,060 to 634,860 people, and Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 3 tanks, 8 armored vehicles and 14 artillery systems.
