By the end of this year, Ukraine will receive another batch of F-16 fighters from Denmark.

This is reported by DR.

"Denmark will deliver an additional batch of F-16 aircraft here in the second half of 2024," the official said.

He declined to say the exact date and number of fighters in the new deliveries for reasons of operational security.

According to Poulsen, in total, Denmark has committed to providing Ukraine with 19 F-16 aircraft.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 31, the American publication The Wall Street Journal wrote that the United States refused to send contractors to Ukraine to maintain F-16 fighter jets.

It will be recalled that on September 6 it became known that Ukraine still has not established the cause of the crash of the F-16 plane that crashed on August 26.

On August 4, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the arrival of the first F-16s in Ukraine. He also published a video of the flight of two fighter jets with Ukrainian markings.

In addition, analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) predicted how Ukraine's acquisition of F-16 fighter jets could affect the course of hostilities.
