Russians carry out airstrike on Sumy: 2 killed and 4 wounded
At night, the russian occupiers launched an airstrike on Sumy. It is known about 2 killed and 4 wounded, half of whom are children.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Today, September 8, 2024, at night, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the city of Sumy. As a result of the airstrike, two people were killed and four more people were wounded, including two children," the message reads.
It is stated that the enemy damaged private houses and cars.
Meanwhile, all the necessary services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack, and the wounded are being provided with the necessary medical assistance.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the Sumy Region, the civilian evacuation zone has been expanded to five more settlements.
On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, shelling populated areas from the territory of the russian federation, conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities.
