Readiness of protective structures at Ukrenergo facilities more than 85% - Shmyhal

The readiness of protective structures at the facilities of the Ukrenergo national energy company is more than 85%.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this in his speech during the Hour of Questions to the Government in the Verkhovna Rada on September 6, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"As of today, the government has financed more than UAH 10 billion for the protection of energy facilities, separately, more than UAH 5 billion has been financed by Ukrenergo for the creation of appropriate protection. The readiness of Ukrenergo facilities is more than 85% of protective structures, the readiness of the Agency's facilities recovery is somewhat lower, but it is, but the work there continues and, accordingly, there is relevant information for each object," he said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that in the absence of critical strikes on the power system, there will be no blackouts in winter.
