AFU eliminate 1,300 occupiers, 35 units of armored vehicles and 30 drones. General Staff names losses of russia over day

Losses of personnel of the russian troops on September 1 increased by 1,360 to 617,600 people, and Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 9 tanks, 26 armored combat vehicles and 10 artillery systems over the past day.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to September 2, 2024 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 617,600 (+1,300) persons were eliminated;
• tanks - 8,601 (+9) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 16,786 (+26) units;
• artillery systems - 17,646 (+10) units;
• MLRS - 1,177 (+1) units;
• air defense equipment - 940 units;
• aircraft - 368 units;
• helicopters - 328 units;
• UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 14,537 (+30) units;
• cruise missiles - 2,557 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 23,925 (+44) units;
• special equipment – 2,993 (+2) units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 30 increased by 1,360 to 614,950 people, equipment - by 8 tanks, 14 armored vehicles and 42 artillery systems.
