AFU eliminate 1,130 occupiers, 32 AFVs and 46 artillery systems. General Staff reports losses of russians per day

Over the last day, August 21, the army of the aggressor country of the russian federation lost 1,130 soldiers, three air defense systems and 96 operational-tactical UAVs at the front.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 08/22/24 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 604,140 (+1,130) persons were eliminated;
• tanks – 8,529 (+7) units;
• armored fighting vehicles - 16,567 (+25) units;
• artillery systems - 17,262 (+46) units;
• MLRS – 1,166 units;
• air defense equipment - 931 (+3) units;
• aircraft - 367 units;
• helicopters - 328 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 13,998 (+96) units;
• cruise missiles - 2,443 (+1) units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 23,280 (+59) units;
• special equipment – 2,904 (+17) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 20 increased by 1,210 to 603,010 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 4 tanks, 21 armored fighting vehicles and 60 artillery systems.
