SSU strikes russian airfield in Volgograd Oblast with drones - sources

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), together with the Special Operations Forces (SOF), struck warehouses with guided aerial bombs and fuel at the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd Oblast of the russian federation.

This was reported to Ukrainian News Agency by sources in law enforcement agencies.

Local russians complain that after the attack by SSU and SOF drones, their military airfield looks like footage from an apocalypse movie.

According to sources, it is Marinovka in the Volgograd Oblast that the enemy actively uses for bombing the front line in Ukraine.

"The so-called "SVO" [special military operation - as they call the war in Ukraine in russia - ed.] is going so well according to the plan that the local residents listened all night and morning to the exploding warehouses with guided aerial bombs, ammunition and fuel and lubricants. Columns of black smoke rise above the airfield territory and a powerful detonation is heard. The SSU works with surgical precision on the airfields from which the enemy attacks Ukraine. Each such implementation reduces the superiority of the russians in the air and significantly limits their aviation capabilities," said an informed source in the SSU.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Navy destroyed a warehouse of ammunition and fuel of the enemy on the Kinburn Spit. The Armed Forces of Ukraine officially admitted that they used Western missile systems in an offensive operation on the territory of the russian federation.
