President's Office denies Ukraine's involvement in undermining of Nord Streams
Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, denied Ukraine's involvement in the undermining of the russian Nord Streams in the Baltic Sea.
He stated this in a comment to the Reuters agency.
Podoliak noted that such an act can be carried out only if there are large technical and financial resources.
"And who owned all this at the time of the explosion? Only russia," said an adviser to the Ukrainian President.
"Ukraine has nothing to do with the Nord Stream explosions," Podoliak assured, adding that Ukraine did not receive any strategic or tactical advantage from the explosions.
As a reminder, The Wall Street Journal published an investigation into the explosion of the Nord Stream gas pipelines in September 2022, where it is claimed that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, approved this operation, and later tried to cancel it after the CIA found out about it.
German Prosecutor General Jens Rommel issued the first arrest warrant for the main suspect in the gas pipeline undermining. He turned out to be Ukrainian Volodymyr, who lived in Poland until recently.
However, in July, the man crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border. He was not detained at the border, because Germany did not enter the suspect's data into the search database. The Polish border guards had no reason to detain him.
