Ukrainian military down Su-34 plane in Kursk Oblast
The Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy Su-34 fighter-bomber in the Kursk Oblast overnight into August 14.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"A russian Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed tonight in the territory of the Kursk Oblast (russia), during a combat mission, by the forces and means of anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force of Ukraine. The work to eliminate the occupiers, their equipment and weapons continues unceasingly," the General Staff assured.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, this is not the first time that the Ukrainian military destroys russian equipment in the Kursk Oblast.
On August 7, it became known that Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) special forces shot down a russian Mi-28 helicopter over the Kursk Oblast with the help of an FPV drone. Then the SSU drone hit the rear propeller of the helicopter.
On August 9, it became known that special forces of the SSU hit another russian helicopter with an FPV drone in the territory of the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country of the russian federation. This was reported to the Ukrainian News Agency by sources in the SSU.
Meanwhile, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, during a report to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that there were no russian troops left in the town of Sudzha, Kursk Oblast.
