Donald Trump lies at least 20 times in conversation with Elon Musk
Former US President Donald Trump had a conversation with Elon Musk on Monday evening that was broadcast on social networks. Trump was found to have lied at least 20 times.
CNN writes about it.
Most of the false statements of the presidential candidate from the Republican Party have been repeatedly debunked before. The fakes were about immigration policy, the economy, foreign policy, the actions of Trump as President and his opponent Kamala Harris.
So, Trump said that "the level of crime in our country is off the charts." However, in fact, in 2024 there were fewer crimes compared to last year. He also unreasonably stated that "we have the strongest inflation in the last 100 years. They say it's been 48 years, I don't believe it." However, the highest level of inflation - 9.1% - was in 2022. Previously, this happened in 1981, that is, 40 years before. But then this level sharply declined, which Trump kept silent about.
Trump also denied the relevance of the problem of global warming, claiming that the nuclear threat is a more real problem. Global sea levels are now rising much faster than the Republican candidate has claimed. And the problem of global warming is already causing large and long floods and stronger hurricanes.
Even in how many people watch the online broadcast of his conversation with Musk, Trump lied. He claimed that there were "about 60 million or so" watching online, but in reality there were only 1.1 million viewers and listeners.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hopes to negotiate an end to the war between the aggressor state of russia and Ukraine in the event of his victory before taking the oath.
