Russian special services can stage crimes against civilians in Kursk Oblast in order to blame them on the AFU – SSU

The Security Service of Ukraine stated that russian special services may soon resort to staging crimes against civilians in the Kursk Oblast in order to blame the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their commission.

It was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Thus, the SSU noted that it records the attempts of the special services of the russian federation to use the situation in the Kursk Oblast for groundless accusations of the Ukrainian military in committing war crimes. According to the SSU, for this, the russian side creates and spreads various fakes and information leaks.

It is indicated that such informational and psychological special operations of the enemy are connected primarily with the impossibility of effectively countering the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"According to the SSU, in the near future the Russian special services may resort to staging crimes, in particular against the civilian population of the Kursk Oblast, in order to later accuse the Ukrainian side of committing them. The SSU warns that such attempts are futile and neither will affect the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine nor the opinion of the international partners of our state," the SSU said.

The Security Service of Ukraine emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine proved to the whole world that they strictly follow the rules and customs of warfare. In particular, both regarding the treatment of prisoners of war of the russian federation and the civilian population.

"Ukrainian soldiers are steadily approaching the Victory of Ukraine. And no enemy IPSO will stand in the way of this," the message reads.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, during today's meeting with the participation of the russian dictator vladimir putin, the head of the Kursk Oblast said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of 28 settlements in the region.
