Russia loses 1,030 soldiers, 9 armored vehicles, and 49 artillery systems on August 8

Losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 8 increased by 1,030 to 588,540 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 3 tanks, 9 armored fighting vehicles, and 49 artillery systems.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Thus, the enemy lost 3 tanks (total – 8,434), 9 armored fighting vehicles (total – 16,341), 49 artillery systems (total – 16,536), 2 anti-aircraft defenses (total – 916), 86 units of motor vehicles and tank trucks (total - 22,371), 2 units of special equipment (total - 2,769), and 32 drones (total - 13,325).

Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 1,142 MLRSes, 2,424 cruise missiles, 366 aircraft, 327 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the loss of personnel of the russian troops on August 7 increased by 1,140 to 587,510 people, equipment - by 1 plane, 1 helicopter, and 36 artillery systems.
