Niger breaks off diplomatic relations with Ukraine

Following Mali, the African country Niger broke off diplomatic relations with Ukraine.

This was reported by the Al Arabiya publication.

In particular, on Tuesday, Niger announced that it was severing diplomatic relations with Ukraine "with immediate effect."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the transitional government of Mali announced the severance of diplomatic relations with Ukraine due to Kyiv's alleged involvement in the destruction of russian mercenaries of the Wagner PMC, while Ukraine was accused of supporting terrorism.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called the decision of the transitional government of Mali to break diplomatic relations with Ukraine short-sighted and hasty.
