Russia loses 1,180 soldiers, 32 armored vehicles, and 69 artillery systems on August 4

Losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 4 increased by 1,180 to 584,090 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 6 tanks, 31 armored fighting vehicles, and 69 artillery systems.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

So, during the day, the enemy lost 6 tanks (total – 8,411), 31 armored fighting vehicles (total – 16,286), 69 artillery systems (total – 16,345), 68 units of automobile equipment and tankers (total – 22,094), 3 units special vehicles (total - 2,737), and 24 drones (total - 13,122).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 1,138 rocket artillery units, 910 anti-aircraft defenses, 2,412 cruise missiles, 363 aircraft, 326 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.

The message of the General Staff also states that in connection with the constant arrival of detailed intelligence data, there was a need to adjust some positions of the enemy's total losses, such as air defense equipment, aircraft, anti-aircraft defense systems, cruise missiles, automotive equipment, and special equipment; therefore the total figure in this information is corrected.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 2 increased by 1,170 to 581,760 people, equipment - by 27 armored vehicles, and 56 artillery systems.
