Budanov not ruling out destruction of Crimea bridge this year
The head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, is not ruling out the possibility of destruction of the Crimea bridge in the next few months.
He said this on the air of the national telethon on August 2, Ukrinform reports.
The head of the Defense Intelligence noted that work on preparations for the destruction of the Crimea bridge continues.
"Everyone is working on long-range strikes and on this (the destruction of the bridge). It all requires a comprehensive solution. The work is going on," he said.
To the journalist's question about whether the Crimea bridge will be destroyed in the next few months, Budanov replied that there are such chances.
"I would also like that. If we look at the near future like this, then there are chances," said the head of the Defense Intelligence.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February, the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksii Neyizhpapa, stated that, in his opinion, the Kerch (Crimea) bridge, illegally erected by Russia, will be destroyed this year.
