Farion's daughter knows who ordered her murder, but refuses to tell names

Sofia Semchyshyn, the daughter of professor and linguist Iryna Farion, said that she knows who ordered her murder, but did not name specific names while the investigation is ongoing.

She said this in an interview with Pershyi Zakhidnyi TV channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"I have an answer for myself as to who ordered the murder of my mother, but I will keep this answer to myself while the investigation continues," the daughter said.

She noted that she has not yet shown the photos of the suspect in murder to her children, because she believes that the time for this has not yet come.

Sofia Semchyshyn also said that today children's tours are being taken to the grave of Iryna Farion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ihor Sulyma, the lawyer of the suspect in the murder of professor Iryna Farion, wants to prosecute the linguist's daughter Sofia for threats against his client. Farion's daughter, Sofia Semchyshyn, wished the suspect in her mother's murder to die in prison.

A preventive measure was chosen for the suspect in Farion's murder. During the court session, he stuck his tongue out at journalists. The court chose a preventive measure for the guy - detention for 60 days without the right to bail.
