Ukrainian Defense Intelligence drones attack russian refinery in Tuapse – media

As a result of the operation of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the night of July 22, an oil refinery in the city of Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation was attacked. A fire broke out at this facility of the russian military-industrial complex.

Ukrainian Pravda reported this with reference to a source in the Defense Intelligence.

The drones in the sky over Tuapse were recorded around 3:30 a.m. local time. According to local media reports, during the first wave of the attack, russian air defense tried to shoot down four kamikaze drones.

Around 6:25 a.m., at least two more powerful explosions were heard in the area of ​​the refinery, after which a fire started on the territory of the facility.

In total, at least eight UAVs were reported to have attacked the refinery. Propaganda media Russia Today said that the refinery infrastructure was damaged as a result of the hit.

The degree of damage to the facilities of the russian military-industrial complex is currently being specified, the source added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russia announced a "massive drone attack" and shot down 75 UAVs.
