Resort season in Crimea flying head over heels, russians massively canceling tours - Defense Intelligence

The situation in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea caused the mass cancellation of tours for illegal recreation in the resorts of the peninsula.

This is stated in the message of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to the Defense Intelligence, almost 80% of russians refused the tours organized for June 2024 in occupied Sevastopol. The overall Crimean rate of cancellations of already booked tickets last month amounted to more than a third.

"First of all, the russians, who have changed their mind to bask on the captured Crimean coasts, are worried about the difficult security situation caused by the occupation," intelligence officers report.

In particular, the mass refusal of russians to rest in Crimea was influenced by the unreliable and deadly operation of the invaders' air defense system.

Another risk factor is the vulnerable illegal Kerch bridge, which remains the main artery for so-called tourism from the aggressor country of russia and is used by Moscow for military logistics.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, two oblasts of russia and the occupied Crimea complain about drone attacks.

It was also reported that SSU and Navy drones struck a russian coast guard base during exercises of the occupiers in Crimea.
