On Tuesday, blackout schedules will be in effect throughout day

Tomorrow, July 16, scheduled power outages will take place throughout the day.

The press service of NPC Ukrenergo has announced this.

"Tomorrow, July 16, consumption restriction measures will be in effect during the day," Ukrenergo reported.

The company added that from 12.00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. oblenergos will apply four turns of shutdowns at the same time. In other hours, three turns will be used.

Also, according to Ukrenergo, emergency shutdowns in the Kharkiv Region have been canceled. The region has returned to hourly blackout schedules.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 14, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the situation with electricity should improve on July 20.

NPC Ukrenergo canceled the measurements of the actual level of consumption in each region, which it planned to conduct from July 9 to 24.

Ukrenergo warned that the most difficult situation in the energy system of Ukraine is expected in the middle of summer.

Earlier, Ukrenergo explained why electricity is turned off for different numbers of hours for household consumers in different regions.
