RF attacks Ukraine with drones; Air Defense downs all 32 Shaheds

Overnight into July 5, the russians attacked Ukraine with drones; an alarm was declared in some regions due to drone flights; according to preliminary information, air defense was working, and explosions were heard.

This follows from a statement by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

At 5:14 a.m., the repulse of the UAV threat was announced in the regions.

Overnight into July 5, Ukrainian air defense shot down all 32 Shahed drones that the russians launched over Ukraine.

This was reported by Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk.

Drones were shot down in Mykolayiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy Regions.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last night, one of the russian Shaheds hit an infrastructure object in the Chernihiv Region, as a result of which almost 6,000 consumers were left without electricity.

In addition, on the night of July 4, the air defense forces destroyed three Shahed-type attack drones over the Zhytomyr Region. Debris caused a fire in a private house; a woman was injured.
