Tyshchenko breaks his phone during searches so as not to provide it as evidence
MP Mykola Tyshchenko, who today, June 25, was accused of kidnapping a war veteran, broke his phone during searches by law enforcement officers in order not to give it as evidence in the case.
The relevant video was released by journalist Kostiantyn Andriyuk.
"Searches of MP Mykola Tyshchenko, who, not wanting to give physical evidence, breaks his phone," Andriyuk captioned the video.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the afternoon of June 20 in Dnipro, a group of people in balaclavas and military uniforms without distinguishing marks attacked a man in civilian clothes, who was with a child in a carriage at the time of the attack. The man who was attacked is Dmytro "Syn" Pavlov, who fought in the Kraken special unit, and the attackers were Tyshchenko's bodyguards.
The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk Region announced that two criminal proceedings had been opened due to the incident with Tyshchenko's bodyguards.
Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin also served Mykola Tyshchenko with the suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty of a former military man.
In addition, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, commented on the beating by Tyshchenko's bodyguards of Dmytro Pavlov, a former fighter of the Kraken special unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to him, the behavior of the MP is absolutely shameful and there are no excuses for it.
