On Saturday, blackout schedules will be in effect from 2 PM to 12 AM

On Saturday, the power outage schedules in Ukraine will begin earlier than planned - from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The press service of the Ukrenergo national energy company has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Today, June 22, the restrictions will come into effect earlier. Oblenergos will apply hourly blackout schedules throughout Ukraine from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.," the message reads.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrenergo previously announced that on June 22, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
